Founded originally by a speech language clinician, Coastal Communication Inc. understands the significant and often overlooked role that communication plays in the lives of geriatric and pediatric populations, as well as all ages in between!
Our primary focus is on improving patient quality of life. We do this by providing meaningful interactions and therapy objectives aligned to patient concerns and family driven goals to produce optimal outcomes. Passion and creativity drive us, with genuine care for others deeply embedded into the core of who we are. We recognize that the populations we serve often do not have a voice. Therefore, we strive to actively advocate for our patients so that one day they may find their voice again and gain clarity on who they are and how they would like to show up moving forward.

Our Approach & services
Comprehensive Assessment
Clients will engage in detailed and personally tailored assessment types for data collection in order to best identify strengths and weaknesses. We will also build rapport, set expectations, and create SMART goals to drive therapy sessions alongside family members and caregivers.
Customized Treatment
Beyond the initial evaluation process, clients will receive a comprehensive therapy plan that meets their unique needs and targets quality of life improvement in varied domains (communication, memory, language usage, fluency, articulation, speech). Sessions may be semi or biweekly dependent upon needs, goals, and overall status.
Progress Monitoring
Goals and objectives are tracked using a variety of qualitative and quantitative data. This helps us to monitor patient progress and make adjustments as necessary. "Men lie. Women lie. Numbers don't!"
Ongoing Support
Our clinicians are trained to look for patient motivations, therapy revisions, and incorporate caregiver feedback and reports into all sessions. Rest assured, you'll be making waves with your words in no time!
